Itinerary

Day 1Hanoi arrival

On your arrival in Hanoi, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2Hanoi City Group Tour (B, L)

8.00: Get picked up by our friendly guide and start to explore Hanoi City
08.45: Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish Island in West Lake. It is the oldest pagoda in Ha Noi built in the 6th century.
09.30: Visit Ho Chi Minh complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & and worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where the Goddess of Mercy is – It is the most unique pagoda in the world.
Ø Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, temples, pagodas…
Ø Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.
11.15: Continue to visit the Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11th century.
12.45: Have lunch at a local restaurant.
14.00: Hoa Lo Prison Museum which was originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the “Hanoi Hilton”.
15.15: Explore Ngoc Son Temple (Temple of Jade Mountain) dedicated to Confucian and Taoist philosophers and the national hero Tran Hung Dao. The temple with its famous Huc bridge is in the center of Hoan Kiem (Sword) Lake.
16.15 -16.30: Tour finishes. Back to hotel.

Day 3Bus to Sapa (6:45 - 12:30) - Leisure (B)

Breakfast at hotel and check out.
You will be picked up at around 7:00 AM by the Limousine bus for Sapa.
Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at hotel and the rest of day is at your leisure.
Overnight in Sapa.

Day 4Sapa trekking - Visit Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B, L)

After breakfast, you will meet the guide at 9:00AM for the trekking tour.
First start of 6km of walking down to the southeast of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh
Ho village of the Black H’mong. Continue a 2km-trekking down to Lao Chai village, through terraced rice
fields to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority people. Lunch at a local family, it gives you a worth chance for
you to learn about the local house architecture which is full of their daily life styles and exclusive custom.
Enjoy the landscapes…on the way. Last trek is about 2Km to the bus stop in Tavan then get back to Sapa
by jeep or minivan..

Day 5Bus to Hanoi (14:00 - 19:30) (B)

Check out of hotel at 12:00.
You will be picked up at 14:00 to get back to Hanoi.
Upon arrival, check in at hotel and resting.
Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 6Hanoi - Halong Bay - Lan Ha Bay (B, L, D)

Having breakfast then check out of hotel.
08:00 – 08:30: Pick up at your hotel and depart for Ha Long City.
12:00 You will be taken on our tender from the wharf and make your way out onto the bay to board our luxurious craft, Sapphire Cruise. You will be welcome aboard and greeted with a complimentary drink.
Our Crew will conduct a compulsory safety procedures session and then you are free to check into your cabin and freshen up. Take some time to have a look around the vessel or watch the magical landscape go by.
13: 15: A special lunch of fresh seafood and an assortment of appetizing favorites will be served. We set sail for Lan Ha Bay passing to Da Chong islet where you can see a lighthouse built by the French over 100 years ago.
15:00 When lunch is about to finish, it is just nice that the Cruise completes its entry through Cua Van area to Lan Ha Bay (as part of Halong Bay). The area is surrounded by a lot of extraordinary limestone karst landscapes. Guests can start their journey to explore Lan Ha Bay by Kayaking and swimming in the crystal clear waters of the bay.
17: 00: Back to the main boat, and cruising to a place for staying overnight
17:30 Join the sunset party on the sundeck in a warm and romantic atmosphere, making friends with the members of the group enjoying fresh local fruit, and listening to soft light music.
18 :00 Take a cooking class
19:15 Relish special Dinner in the restaurant.
20:45 – 00:00 Your free time to relax with an exotic cocktail or whatever takes your fancy. Our bar has a wide range of wines, beers, and liquors and is always a welcome sight for guests after a day on the Bay.
Order a Spa service or take any activities on boat cruise such as watching documentary movies, squid fishing or simply relaxing on our rooftop deck under the cover of a star filled sky.

Day 7Morning cruising - Back to Hanoi (B,L)

06:00 The nicest time of the day on Lan Ha Bay is the morning. Head to the upper deck to participate in our daily Tai Chi sessions. Relax with an early morning cup of tea, coffee or juice anywhere you wish on the boat and watch the never-ending miraculous scenery unfold before you.
06:30 Light breakfast will be served in our restaurant (pastries, tea, coffee)
7:30 – 9:00 Enjoy the last stage of your trip to Dark & Bright cave and islets by local rowing boats which is a wild and mysterious beauty in the middle of the World Heritage. Back to our main board afterward.
09:00- 9:15 Check out of your cabin as we draw closer to the mainland.
9:45 Lunch in the restaurant on the cruise.
10:45 Take the tender to leave the ship to Tuan Chau harbor
11:45 Tour ends at Tuan Chau, Halong
12:00 Get on the bus and return to Hanoi.
15:30 Arrive in Hanoi. Dropoff at hotel
The rest of day is at your leisure.
Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 8Hanoi Departure (B)

Leisure time till airport transfer. Hotel checkout at noon.
